Job Description Join our Training team, where you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering modern training and crew solutions for maritime and naval projects. Fleetway is driving the integration of combat and platform systems for sailors who will join the River Class Destroyer fleet. We are looking for a qualified Sr. Combat Systems Technologist for our Dartmouth, NS office location. Responsibilities

  • Gather data, analyze Combat Systems and occupational information, and conduct occupational needs assessments for the both the crew of the River Class Destroyers (RCD) as well as organizations ashore impacted by the introduction of the RCD.
  • Planning and conducting data collection engagements with stakeholders and workshops as required.
  • Conduct iterative updates based on new technical information to existing system-based Combat Systems Needs Assessments for the RCD. This includes reviewing, researching, editing and proof reading.
  • Support the development for the crew model of the RCD through the planning and execution of maintenance task analysis, validation of jobs and roles, and administrative tasks as required.
  • Managing and updating the Task Management software, proposing scheduling, and reporting on work packages related to their respective RCD Training work.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or bachelor's degree
  • 5-8 years' experience as a combat systems operator/maintainer
  • Former Petty officer 2nd class qualified or above (PO2)
