About the Role
We seek a passionate and dynamic Student Recruitment Representative to promote a prestigious British university in Eastern Canada. This part-time, remote role involves traveling to high schools, universities, and colleges across Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland to build relationships and support prospective students in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
â Student Engagement & Recruitment
- Promote the university to high school and college students, guiding them through admissions.
- Visit high schools, universities, and colleges to conduct presentations and meet with students, parents, and educators.
- Hold virtual and in-person events such as info sessions, open days, and recruitment fairs.
- Provide personalized support via phone, text, email, and social media to prospective students and their families.
â Networking & Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with high school guidance counselors, university and college advisors, and educational institutions.
- Develop a network of contacts within the education sector to support recruitment efforts.
- Represent the university at educational fairs, conferences, and networking events.
â Follow-Up & Student Support
- Follow up with students and parents throughout the application process.
- Answer inquiries via phone, text, email, and social media.
- Track student interest and recruitment efforts to optimize outreach strategies.
Who Weâre Looking For:
â Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
â Experience in student recruitment, admissions, sales, marketing, or education is a plus.
â Knowledge of the Eastern Canada education system (high schools, universities, and colleges).
â Ability to work independently, travel as needed, and build meaningful relationships.
â Comfortable engaging with students and parents via phone, text, and social media.
â Passionate about higher education and helping students achieve their academic goals.
