Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving growth through strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset, with responsibilities including the development and execution of strategies to increase revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company’s client base and revenue streams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Lead negotiations to secure profitable contracts and agreements.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and areas for differentiation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to potential clients.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand professional networks.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends and potential growth areas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in technology sales and business development, with a focus on the cloud sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in the North American market, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
