PHASOR Engineering Inc. is a dynamic Alberta based company specializing in engineering, design, panel fabrication, and testing/commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances, such as IEC 61850, to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup. We are currently seeking a highly motivated "Receptionist / Accounting Assistant" to join our team. This role will be sitting at the front of house and will be the first person anyone entering the building see's and is greeted by. Responsibilities:
- Receptionist duties including:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining conference room calendars
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Assisting with employee queries
- Office supplies ordering and inventory
- Monitoring mailboxes
- Records scanning, filing and all other administrative tasks
- General accounting assistance including:
- PO 3 way matching and entering AP invoices
- Preparing employee expense reports
- Creating PO's occasionally
- Analyzing and troubleshooting of invoice and PO discrepancies
- Time sheets entry
- Additional or ad hoc accounting and admin assistance as required
Qualifications:
- 2 year's experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication Skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience using Eclipse software an asset
