Are you a Machinery Diagnostic Engineer looking for a new opportunity?Would you like to help shape and implement our Bently Nevada Diagnostics Services?Join our Bently Nevada Engineering team Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection solutions that help customers achieve the highest level of asset reliability possible. Partner with the best As a Machinery Diagnostics Engineer, you are tasked to provide customer service solutions to address critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring systems. This will include evaluating machinery conditions based on vibration analysis. As a Machinery Diagnostic Services Field Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications
  • Building relationships with customers to provide a high level of service delivery, becoming their trusted advisor for their rotating equipment health
  • Traveling to customer sites to provide supporting service
  • Writing technical reports providing conclusions and recommendations for customer equipment following each assignment.
  • Defining KPIs to analyze and measure performance to propose improvements and action plans
  • Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
  • Overseeing the preparation of invoices, technical documents, and manufacturing records for orders, ensuring compliance with the internal documentation system

Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university (or 2- year technical degree with 4+ years of applicable industry experience)
  • Have knowledge and/or industry experience in either the Power Generation industry, Chemical Plants or other similar industries
  • Possess mechanical experience with rotating equipment found throughout the Power Generation industry or other similar industries
  • Be able to travel regionally to work with customers on-site up to 80% of the time
  • Have a passport (or able to obtain a passport) and hold a valid driver’s license
